NYS DPS Chair Audrey Zibelman opened NYEW 2016 yesterday, with highlights of the NYSun program, Reforming the Energy Vision, and points on energy democracy. Her keynote was followed by a panel on the future of the electric system, with Caroline Angoorly, COO and Managing Director of NY Green Bank, Kenneth Daly, President of National Grid, and Judith Lagano, Senior Vice President, Asset Management, of NRG, talking about the transition from a centralized to a distributed system and policies and technology required to achieve that change, among other topics.
Today, we have two more exciting events lined up.
At 8 am, Jigar Shah, Co-founder of Generate Capital, Bert Hunter, CIO of CT Green Bank, Catherine Helleux, Senior Vice President of Societe Generale, and Benjamin Cohen, CEO of T-Rex Group, will be joining the panel at the NYEW 2016 Solar Breakfast, “Bending the Sun Curve: Future Pathways for Financing Distributed Solar,” hosted and powered by DLA Piper.
