The proliferation of LED lighting has led to rapid advancements in LED lighting technologies over the past few years. These advancements have provided numerous benefits over traditional incandescent light bulbs, including an increase in energy efficiency, a decrease in maintenance and replacement costs due to longer product lifespans, and less environmental impact. LEDs also offer increased flexibility in design and light disbursement. Light can be delivered to specific points more efficiently and lighting effects can be more effectively achieved for mood and time of day.
Advancements in LED lighting technology have important implications for our energy ecosystem, so that’s why we’re closing out New York Energy Week this year with the LED Lighting Showroom Workshop & Reception sponsored by Energy Focus. Energy Focus is a leading provider of energy efficient LED lighting products, and an innovator in developing energy efficient lighting technologies. They’ve developed long-standing partnerships with the U.S. Government and are involved in numerous research and development projects with DOE, DARPA, and the U.S. Navy fleet.
This event will take place on Friday, June 17th from 2pm – 6pm at the Empire State Building. It will feature product demonstrations, research results, and a reception with light bites and beverages.
